You definitely get what you pay for when it comes to the room, but the Location is what makes this place totally worth it

Great location that's walking distance to everything. Food, shopping, the boardwalk. Clean room with good use of space. Counters on the walls make it convenient to put your things.

The price for this location reflects the quality of room. Although the hotel is beautiful in a classic Mexican way, it out dated and run down. Simple room and clean enough. No window in our room except to the inner hallway, smelled good, AC and TV work. The location is beautiful next to the park and a block from the beach with so many wonderful restaurants around. Staff is very kind and helpful, beds are comfortable enough and clean. Just don’t expect a fancy room and see the value. Thank you I would stay again!

The hotel is good in many ways. Located in the Zona Romantica district, steps to the beach and to plenty of restaurants and bars, built in the traditional style of the region. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a nice junior suite with mountain and partial ocean view. Be careful at booking, some rooms may have a view to the internal courtyard only, which may not be what you prefer. The kitchen in the suite comes with a large refrigerator but with basic equipment (compared to U.S. suite hotel kitchens). Not a problem at all for us due to all the food options literally at the door step. Internet worked well in the common areas, only partially in the room (we were informed about this ahead of our stay). There are two pools, a quite small one on the roof top and a slightly larger one on the ground/1st floor close to the lobby. They hand no beach/pool towels in this hotel. So you take them from the room or bring own beach towels. AC worked well, housekeeping was very good (and, what I appreciate, rather early in the day). We'll definitely return. Reason for not overall five stars is the shaky internet in the room which should not be rocket science anymore in 2025.

We have been going to PV for years, always trying different hotels. This one is now our favorite and we book for next year now. Great staff and service. have never had a shower with such great water pressure or hot water. as we did at this hotel. right in the area that we like. we had a suite which was nice. a microwave would be nice but no big deal. love the roof . we will be back

The rooms are very basic and dated and honestly disappointing when you check in but the rooms grow on you. They are regularly cleaned and well taken care off. The location is ideal. Steps away from the beach. We didn't need to use a bus or taxi for anything. Everything was walking distance. We had a beautiful view of the beach and the park which had Zumba classes every morning. Our room was on the second floor and hence not very quiet. I would recommend a higher floor and something away from street view. The bars in the next building can get very loud late night. No iron nor hairdryer in the room but you can ask for one at the front desk. We often did and returned it immediately The best highlight is the roof. We loved having breakfast there. Our little one loved swimming while we chatted. It's definitely bang for your buck. Would go back there (top floor)

My friend booked this place for a few nights as the hotel I booked was too noisy & had bad wifi so we both ended up with access to both hotels. I didn't sleep here however it was clean everywhere & the staff were very nice. His room was small but clean & comfortable. Resolved his issues with the original hotel booking as it was quiet & wifi was good so he could work in the mornings. Good value for the price. Has a nice rooftop sundeck & a small pool with decent view. Really close to the beach. Excellent location.

Hotel Eloisa is steps to the beach and malecon. Excellent location to eat at various restaurants.
